Mia’s voice was clear and cheerful as she stood outside her little house, making her way carefully over to the familiar face and uniform. The air was cold and she was already wearing her winter clothes, her mitten-clad hands gripping tightly at the ends of her coat. Despite it all, she was incredibly happy to see Vash, and as she marched up to the older boy, she seemed to have a bit of a lively spring in her step. “I’ve missed you,” she said finally as she caught up with him, coming to a rather abrupt stop as soon as she deemed herself close enough.
